All The Critics Love U In New York
Etcetera has begun a tradition of what they refer to as “open source comedy.” Basically, it’s harnessing the wisdom of crowds when it comes to humor. The latest effort at open source comedy is a caption contest featuring our nation’s fearless leader. The winner of the contest gets 3 free sins (it’s a Steve Brown Etc. semi-inside joke - those who listen to either the big show or Etcetera will understand).
I don’t know if a winner was ever officially declared, but it’s enough that Matt, the show’s comedy writer, voted my entry his favorite so far.
I don’t care what the public says.
