What I did this Easter weekend

Visited my mother-in-law and her side of the family twice. Each way there or back is about a 45 minute drive, so we spent a total of 3 hours on the road this weekend. Saturday we came up for my niece Eva’s third birthday party, and Sunday for Easter dinner. Both afforded me lots of time to hang out with the coolest toddler on the planet.

Was present for a total of three Easter services at church. The first was sunrise service, which I’ve never been to before, but I had to give someone a ride there (it’s a strange feeling waking up before 5 AM on a Sunday…). The other two were our normal services where I played and sang as usual on the worship team. Carla and I also did special music for both services, a piano/vocal rendition of the Caedmon’s Call song “God Who Saves.”

Listened to Derek Webb’s She Must and Shall Go Free a lot.

Collapsed at around 9:30 Sunday night, forgetting to set the VCR to tape Alias. (DOH!)

Nothing like ripping content from another place and repurposing it. ;)

Everyone’s always pointing people to their weblog posts on the forum - I thought I’d take the opposite approach.

    Because I’m lazy.
